Faith is our walk, but Fellowship sensibly felt is our REST. Faith is the road, but communion with Jesus is the well from which the pilgrim drinks.

“God’s rest: A space of peace prepared for you.
△ Take on this peace; His perspective on what He wants to do with your life.”
C. Swindol
Faith launches me into the ocean of God’s blessing.
I can only see a little at a time, due to earth’s “curvature” (our nature), but wherever I am and whatever I see, I’m on “the ocean.”
Can’t see much at all in a storm, in the fog, or at night, but I’m still there. Can’t get off. I see the most under a steady wind.
Go… “I am with you always.” Matt. 28
- To be “happy” is to be content with the circumstances. Circumstances being what they are, “happy” rarely occurs for any prolonged period of time.
- By contrast, to be “at peace” is to be content no matter what the circumstances. This peace is either a true peace, the peace of God, or a false peace, based on illusion.
- True peace is only available through Jesus, the way, and the truth, and the life. It’s continual.
False peace is available (temporarily) from an infinite variety of illusions. - The end of true peace is eternal life with Christ in heaven.
The end of false peace is damnation with Satan in hell.
-Some speak of “that better place” or “I know where I am going” as though to convince themselves, or to convince others that they are “convinced.”
But those who truly confident rarely say anything. No need. Peace of God.
